OMFG, I love House so much!!!!!!!
This was one of my all time fav House eps... so much greatness, I'm incoherent :DDDD
In no order:
1) Son of Coma Guy - come on!! love that title... love the concept... love the medical mystery part of it... sometimes the medical part bores me, and I'm more into the character develepment, but this time, the mystery was interesting and well done.
2) Heh! I love it when House induces things in patients - like strokes, heart attacks, this time seizures.. it's just so much fun! And when he diagnoses people after just having seen them for a brief amount of time :) is greatness.
3) I love all the back story we've gotten on House - why he became a doctor, how he and Stacy met, what he'd want his father to say to him... etc.
It was a good ep because House is a hard character to learn about... he's not exactly open with his feelings and personal stuff.... but they used 'Coma guy' (aka veggie guy), as a means to tell people more about House... at the same time Wilson learned that stuff about House, and Wilson and House were able to talk, almost using coma-guy as an intermediate.
4) I loved the relationship between House and Wilson. just... so so many things.. great lines.. greatness.
5) The ducklings were good - Chase didn't betray House again, yay!!!! - and even Foreman, who I was afraid might slightly badmouth House, was awesome with the cop.... he stood right up to him!
And all the ducklings came and told House about talking to the cop! yay!
6) I love that the writers/people sort of pushed the envelope by having the father kill himself for the son... and having House help.... and Wilson provide an alibi....
7) And having Tritter say 'everyone lies'... oooohhhh - House's worst enemies are always... himself - Moriarty!!
8) Road trip!!
9) I could do a whole post about the great House/Wilson scenes... I thought the 'Housian Sperm' from that ep when House stole Wilson's tomate and bit into it, spraying Wilson was 'whoa'. But Wilson's alibi: Wilson was obviously implying (stating!) that he and House were staying in the same room.... and the woman he approached was part of a couple - asking if they 'swing'?!?! Implying he and House would like to swing with them?!?! Implying that he and House were a couple?!?!?! awesomeness!!! I did a double take!
anyway, i give this ep a 10/10.
Next ep looks even more extreme! I've never seen Wilson so angry - or yell like that! It wasn't the somewhat humorous yelling of this ep... it was... :(((
Anyway... I'm glad House is still good... SV kinda.... lost me season 4. Season 3 - the asylum!!! SV could still have been saved... but by the time season 4 hit... :((
So... now my plan is to check out some of the following (which I sometimes do after House):

And sometimes, a while later, I check out television without pity.... but that' usually when it's a repeat or I'm bored.

QUERY:
I just want to make sure I understood this correctly... House got coma-guy aspirin so his heart wouldn't be as damaged... he probably helped set up coma-guy so he could strangle/hang himself.... and then after he was dead, House and Wilson called 911/the hospital so that they could rush the body from Atlanta to Jersey??? Wouldn't the heart have.... gone bad by that time???
